Prolink Events Ltd. (“we”, “us”) organizes EnergyTech Symposium. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through energytechsymposium.com and in connection with the event, in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

- Contact and professional details you give us, such as name, job title, organization, email, phone and country, when you register, enquire, subscribe or submit a speaking proposal.
- Payment information, processed securely by our payment provider. We do not store full card details.
- Basic analytics about how the website is used, collected through Google Analytics using cookies.
- Photos and video taken at the event, which may include attendees.
How we use it
- To manage registrations, passes, invitation letters and event logistics.
- To respond to enquiries and arrange B2B meetings you request.
- To send event updates where you have agreed to receive them, in line with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To improve the website and future events.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the event (for example payment, email and venue partners), with sponsors where you have explicitly agreed (for instance by requesting a meeting or having your badge scanned), or where required by law.
Retention & security
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above and protect it with reasonable safeguards.
